This exhibition pamphlet is for “Global Reflections: Harlem and Beyond,” one of McCannon’s first major one-woman shows. McCannon wanted to title the show differently but compromised. The show featured pieces that were inspired by her travels. McCannon has stated that it was a beautiful exhibition, but financially was a disaster, as the gallery was only open Monday to Friday, which limited viewership.
