Programs
Our programs center archives, activism, and access through our digital archive and content partnerships. Through our events, education platform, interview series, and blog, we celebrate feminist legacy-building in all areas of life.
Stemming from our origins in the visual arts, we work closely on initiatives related to feminist art history, including providing grants for graduate research and commissioning digital exhibitions.

Preserving the International Museum of Women
The Feminist Institute worked closely with Global Fund for Women to address feminist digital preservation with an initiative to preserve and document the work of the International Museum of Women (IMOW), an innovative digital museum with a mission to inspire creativity, awareness, and action on vital global gender justice issues. In this project feature, we’ll discuss our approach to capturing this born-digital resource and considerations to take when preserving digital projects that have reached obsolescence.
