This is Dushanko-Dobek’s work, “La Vida es un Sueno.” The title of this work is from a famous play by the renowned 16th-century playwright and poet Pedro Calderon de la Barca. The phrase in the painting is dialogue found in the play which serenely suggests acceptance of the inescapable.
