This video was created for IMOW's MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe exhibition. Christy is in her late thirties and from the southeastern part of Nigeria. She lives in Lagos and works with the Kudirat Initiative for Democracy. She is unable to conceive, causing friction in her marriage. Her fertility issues are also affecting her self-image as a woman.
